Today’s demand for health care workers is soaring! For over 12 years South Texas Training Centers have successfully educated hundreds of South Texas residents to fill those needs. South Texas Training Center serves the Hidalgo, Willacy, Starr, Cameron and Webb counties.

            The schools work with the students to provide them the education that will prepare them to obtain a Medical Assistant, Nurse Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, EKG Technician, and Patient Care Technician Certificate.

            With these certifications, the students are able to secure employment in nursing facilities, hospitals, clinics, assisted living centers and home health care agencies, laboratories, and Doctors’ offices. South Texas Training Center was founded in 1997 and is committed to improving the quality of life to residents in South Texas.  Our commitment is to provide knowledge to its students and help to take them from a place of limited opportunities to a marketplace where their newly learned skills can earn them promising careers and a meaningful way of life.
